The images displayed here are a cross-section of work completed over the last 12 months. This period has seen a shift from more figurative sea and sky-scapes to more abstracted work inspired by the inter-relation of man and sea: the working life of the harbour and fishing boats, for example, or the shapes, colours, and textures of water disturbed by boats. In projects the artist's gaze turns further inwards to explore shore-based themes: harbours; the textures and patterns of the shore; rusty objects washed up on the beach, as well as more figurative work.
